Born on September 23, 1989, in Torrance, California, to Mexican parents, where she lived for just under a year. She returned with her mother and father to her hometown, Colima, and has resided there since. She initiated her singing career in a school contest, where she competed against children of different ages from five different schools. At the age of 5, she won first place with the song "Como la Flor" by Selena.
Her entrance into singing was purely innate and self-taught. With the support of her mother, Paula Mendoza (who had no formal singing training but had a good musical ear), she was motivated and coached during her childhood. She participated in local contests held in the municipality of Villa de Alvarez, winning first places with songs such as "Tristes Recuerdos" and "Los Laureles," her favorite genre being Mariachi. At the age of 7, she took part in "Amanecer Ranchero," a contest held by a significant radio station in the state. She won second place and years later secured first place in the children's category.
She also engaged in singing original songs, participating in the "Feria de Todos los Santos" in Colima, winning first places in the authors and composers contest in different years. She has given voice to many original songs by different authors in the state. At 12, she joined versatile groups, including a group called "Diamante Negro," where she spent some months. She was also a part of the children's choir of IUBA, directed by teacher Tina Murguía.
Over time, she sang for various groups and orchestras, such as "Cocos Show," "Scape," "Festival," "Innova," "Latino Show," "Status," "Acustica," and in 2014, she participated in a concert offered by the state government's music band.
In 2018, she obtained a national title as the ambassador of Mariachi and Charreria in a contest organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Guadalajara. This allowed her to perform on various stages in Jalisco, accompanied by Mariachis from invited countries like Colombia, USA, Canada, Spain, Peru, and more. Throughout her music career, she briefly had vocalization and singing teachers such as Mario Cortes and Tina Murguía. In 2019, as part of her prize as an ambassador, she received one year of singing classes with Maestro Juanpablo Alvear, the founder director of the Mexican Mariachi Academy in Guadalajara.
Currently, she is an entrepreneur and continues to sing in groups, solo with Mariachi or orchestras, and participates in festivals in her state. In September 2023, she had the privilege of international debut singing with a symphony orchestra in Wenatchee, performing songs like "Costumbres" and "Procuro Olvidarte." She was a special guest with the production of Encanto Arts from Seattle, WA, directed by Maestro José Íñiguez. She also had a duet with tenor José Íñiguez singing "Algo de Mi" and "Hallelujah" in the Numerica Arts Center. As part of the cultural exchange between Colima and Pasco, Washington, she sang at the Palace of Justice of Franklin County with the Mariachi Halcón del Río to celebrate the alliance and the 500 years of the foundation of the state of Colima.
In addition to pursuing her passion for music, Mareanne Silva is a successful entrepreneur. In 2017, she founded her own company, "Buepink Gender Reveal Store Mexico," which manufactures products to celebrate the arrival of future parents' baby boys or girls. This duality has allowed her to thrive in both the music and business worlds, exploring creative and commercial opportunities in the modern world.
A gifted musician and award-winning Latin music artist. Born as the seventh of 11 children to a Mexican immigrant foreman at an orchard in the small town of Mattawa, Washington, José's childhood was marked by hard times. Through his music program, ENCANTO, which has taken place in major theaters in Washington state and Mexico, as well as at the renowned Benaroya Hall in Seattle, José takes the audience on a cultural journey that pairs the ethereal beauty of opera aria and classical piano with the charm of mariachi bolero.
