We are seeking a passionate, organized, and community-minded individual to join our Board of Directors. This leadership position is ideal for someone who enjoys planning events, building community partnerships, organizing teams, and helping bring meaningful cultural experiences to life.

Encanto Arts is looking for an energetic board member who can help support the planning and execution of our growing portfolio of concerts, festivals, educational programs, artist residencies, and community events throughout Washington State.

This board member will work closely with fellow board members, artists, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners to ensure our programs are welcoming, well-organized, and impactful.

Event Planning & Support

• Assist with the planning and execution of concerts, festivals, workshops, fundraisers, and community events.
• Help develop event timelines, logistics plans, and staffing needs.
• Support event-day operations to ensure smooth execution.

Community Engagement

• Build relationships with local schools, nonprofits, businesses, civic organizations, and community groups.
• Help expand community participation and attendance at Encanto Arts events.
• Serve as an ambassador for Encanto Arts throughout the region.

Partnership Development

• Assist with sponsor and partner engagement.
• Support outreach efforts that strengthen community collaboration and visibility for Encanto Arts programs.

Strategic Leadership

• Participate in board meetings and organizational planning.
• Contribute ideas that support the growth and sustainability of Encanto Arts.
• Help advance the organization's mission and long-term goals.

• Passion for arts, culture, education, and community engagement.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in event planning, project management, hospitality, community outreach, or volunteer leadership is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Encanto Arts.

This position serves as a two-year term on the Encanto Arts Board of Directors. Board members are expected to actively participate in board meetings, strategic planning discussions, fundraising efforts, and Encanto Arts events throughout the year.

The time commitment varies depending on programming and event schedules, with additional involvement leading up to major productions, festivals, and community initiatives.
