Position Overview:
Encanto Arts is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Advisory Board as the Volunteer & Event Staffing Coordinator. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our events by recruiting, organizing, and managing volunteers who are the heart of our cultural and community programming.

Responsibilities:

• Volunteer Recruitment: Develop and implement strategies to attract diverse volunteers to support Encanto Arts events.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Create and manage volunteer schedules for events, ensuring roles are filled and individuals are equipped to succeed.
• Event Staffing Support: Collaborate with event organizers to identify staffing needs and ensure seamless event execution.
• Volunteer Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive environment for volunteers by organizing training sessions, recognizing contributions, and addressing any needs or concerns.
• Stipend Management: Oversee the distribution of volunteer stipends to cover meals and expenses, ensuring timely and transparent processes.
• Community Outreach: Build relationships with local organizations, schools, and community groups to strengthen Encanto Arts' volunteer network.
• Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from volunteers to refine processes and improve future experiences.

Qualifications:

• Passion for arts, culture, and community engagement.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in volunteer coordination or event planning is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals.
• Commitment to Encanto Arts’ mission to enrich communities through arts and culture.

Commitment:
This is an advisory board position requiring active participation in meetings and events. Time commitment will vary based on event schedules, with additional hours leading up to major productions.

Compensation for Volunteers:
While this board position is unpaid, volunteers under your coordination will receive a stipend to cover meals and expenses associated with their involvement in Encanto Arts events.
